The Blanca City Council requests the General Directorate of Social Dialogue and Welfare to modify the local holiday in the municipality of Blanca on April 17, 2020, approved by Resolution of June 7, 2019, by which the head of the General Directorate of Labor Relations and Social Economy publishes the calendar of labor parties for the year 2020, setting it on September 4, 2020.The local holiday in which the San Roque Pilgrimage is celebrated, on April 17, coincides with the extension period of the Alarm State, which prevents citizens from enjoying this holiday in accordance with their local traditions and, considering, on the other hand, the need to provide the minimum services of the Blanca City Council, which is said to be essential to face the current situation in the due security conditions, given its seriousness.The shops and / or basic necessities that remain open during the state of alarm caused by the COVID-19, will open throughout the day of April 17 and will move their closure for a local holiday to September 4, 2020.The acts of the Romería de San Roque and the traditional Bando with an offering of flowers and fruits to San Roque will take place on September 4 and 5, respectively.
