X Boarding of "La Carrahila"]
The Cultural Association "La Carrahila" (Ricote Valley) organizes together with the Caramucel, Nature and History Association and the Permanent Headquarters of the University of Murcia in Blanca, with the collaboration of HE.
Blanca City Council, the X TOGETHER OF "LA CARRAHILA", with the title "LAS PECUARIAS DE BLANCA.
PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE".
The activity has the purpose of transmitting to the citizens the investigations and the situation of these old ways of cattle raising, that both environmental, cultural and patrimonial value possess.
To do this, two sessions will be held next March 6 and 8.
On the 6th at 7:30 p.m., it will be the lecture series at the headquarters of the MUCAB (in Blanca), moderated by Dr. José Molina Ruíz, Professor of the Department of Geography of the University of Murcia and Director of the UMU headquarters in Blanca.
Admission will be free and free until capacity is reached.
The speakers include Mr. Joaquín Caballero Soler (Cultural Association "La Carrahila"), Mr. Héctor Quijada Guillamón (Caramucel, nature and history) and Mr. Mariano Vicente Albaladejo (Geographer).
They will expose all the information related to the evolution of these routes, their documentary history, the current problem and the future perspectives for their management as assets of the public domain.
On March 8, at 9:00 a.m., it will be the interpretive exit to the countryside, with a guided route through the Sierra de la Pila Regional Park.
