The Ministry of Development and Infrastructure improves the safety of the users of the regional road that connects Blanca and Abarán (RM-514), due to the reconstruction works of the three retaining walls that protect the road and that are repeatedly damaged by the rains
This road has a traffic intensity of 373,760 vehicles per year, of which 1,825 are heavy.
The General Director of Roads, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, said during his visit today to the works that “the objective of this intervention is to favor the safe mobility of the regional road that connects both municipalities”, solving the landslides in three different kilometer points to Cause of heavy rains.
The execution period of the work is 40 days, so it will be completed during the month of March.
It consists of the reconstruction of the fallen masonry walls and the cleaning of the trawls of the roadside ditches, in addition to strengthening the firmness of the damaged sections, dismantling and mounting the safety barriers and repainting the sections of action.
