The Victoria Theater, in Blanca, hosted this Saturday the great festival of popular athletics in our Region, recognizing the winners in the circuits Running Challenge, FAMU Trail Tour, FAMU Ultra Trail Tour and 2018/19 Runner League
The wait came to an end, and this Saturday came the most anticipated night for those who enjoyed the 2018/19 edition of the Running Challenge, FAMU Trail Tour, Ultra Trail FAMU and Offroad Runners League circuits.
So it would be with Blanca as a witness, whose Victoria Theater welcomed the great family of popular athletics, on the occasion of the VII Running Gala of the Region of Murcia.
There the 'finishers' were awarded in each of the leagues, as well as the first classified by categories and the first absolutes, with triumph for Francisco Mariano Martínez and Saray Paredes in Running Challenge, Francisco Alfonso Nicolás and Esther Sánchez in Trail Tour FAMU;
Esther Sánchez herself and José Antonio Romero imposed themselves on the FAMU Ultra Trail Tour, corresponding the triumph in the inaugural edition of the League of Off-road Runners to Antonio Lorente and Ana Isabel Cánovas.
There was also a year more place for that team podium in RCH, imposing The Foreigners in men and Simply Runners in the women's section, while in the TTF the male triumph corresponded to Runtritón Turutas and in females to Mudas Trail.
The gold finishers were also awarded, athletes who participated in all the tests of their circuit.
On this occasion, two participants finished that full calendar of the Running Challenge (Germán López and Andrés Sánchez), with up to seven gold finishers in the Ultra Trail Tour FAMU (Francisco Barceló, Javier García De Alcaraz, Juan Antonio Marcos, José Antonio Martínez, David Martínez, Raúl Noguera and Pedro Miguel Sáez).
A night full of emotional moments, including a special recognition of Antonio Montesinos and Juan Miguel Sánchez, two great examples of what should be the essence of the sport well understood.
