Emergency health services have treated and transferred to the hospital a 37-year-old man who has been injured with burns when handling caustic soda at a company in the industrial estate "San Roque" in Blanca.

On 1-1-2 he received a call from his teammates, who reported that the victim had been burned in the face with caustic soda.

A Mobile Emergency Unit (EMU) was mobilized to the place with personnel from the 061 Emergency and Health Emergency Management Department, which, after stabilizing it, transferred it to the "Virgen de la Arrixaca" hospital in Murcia.

The incident has been reported to the Institute of Occupational Health and Safety of the Region of Murcia.
