The municipality of Blanca will live tomorrow the big day of its festivities of Spring with the Pilgrimage of San Roque, in which thousands of whites and visitors accompany the patron to his hermitage located 5 kilometers from the town, in the area of the Campo de San Roque.
At 7 o'clock in the morning, Uncle de la Pita will give a parade announcing the start of the Big Day of the Holidays.
After the mass celebrated at 7.30 in the morning, the Pilgrimage begins from the Plaza de la Iglesia to the hermitage of the saint located in Campo de San Roque, about 5 kilometers from the town center.
Once there, as tradition dictates, the pilgrims go to the Shrine of the saint to bless the thyme branches that are passed through the yagas.
After this act of consecration, the saint begins the journey back to the Church of San Juan Evangelista, in a procession that begins at 7 pm from the well-known village.
