On Fridays, March 22, March 29 and April 5, a course on Female Self Defense was held in Blanca, attended by some 40 women.
The classes have been free, thanks to the organization by the councils of Sports, Youth and Equality of the municipality.
The instructor, Eduardo López Giménez, of the Kiai School, has been in charge of teaching the course in which the women of Blanca have acquired the latest female personal defense techniques, which have been studied and tested very thoroughly on the basis of the allegations presented by the women attacked in real life.
The course ended with the delivery of certificates of attendance delivered by the mayor of Blanca, Ester Hortelano, who has announced that after the success of this one, another advanced level will be organized for the next months.
