This Saturday, March 23, the XVI Villa de Blanca Band Festival will have the participation of the Musical Association of Blanca, organizer of the meeting, and the Santa Cruz de Abanilla Musical Union.
The festival will begin with a parade, at 7.30 pm, in which the two participating bands will parade.
The parade will end at the Victoria Theater where this sixteenth edition will be held at 8:00 p.m.
Both bands will offer a varied repertoire.
In the case of the Abanilla band, directed by Francisco José Blanco Corbalán, they will perform Alvamar Overture (James Barnes), Aquarium (Johan de Meij), The Washinton Post (John Philip Sousa) and 76 Trombones (Meredith Willson). Blanqueña formation, directed by Víctor Cano Sánchez, will delight the audience with the paso doble Las arenas (Manuel Morales Martínez), The Ghost Ship (José Alberto Pina) and Virginia (Jacob de Haan)
