Everything is prepared in Blanca to celebrate the sixth Villa del Toro fair.
The events begin tomorrow, Friday, with the presentation of the Villa del Toro Awards at the Pedro Cano Foundation, at 8:00 p.m.
The Mayoress of Blanca, Ester Hortelano, will give the Spanish Association Against Cancer the National Prize awarded by the Municipal Consistory and to be collected by the president of the AECC in Murcia, Manuel Molina Boix.
It is a "recognition to this association that this year celebrates the 25th anniversary of the bullfighting festival whose proceeds go to cancer research" has indicated the first white mayor.
During the ceremony, which will be enlivened by the flamenco scene of Mercedes Carrillo and the Zarissa ballet, the Regional Awards will also be awarded by a jury made up of bullfighting critics from the Region of Murcia.
The winners of this sixth edition are Pascual Rodríguez and family, the city council of Calasparra, Juan Francisco Moreno and Rafael Laorden Carrasco.
Saturday and Sunday will be the release of wild cattle, from 13 hours, on the street Nueva de Blanca.
In addition, the Peña Taurina Manolete organizes a children's enclosure on Saturday at 12.30
