The Councilor for Social Welfare, Lucia Ato, this morning presented the new Social Education service that has launched the Municipal Council for socio-educational guidance aimed at families, girls, children, adolescents and seniors.
It is a free access service in which, as explained by the mayor of Blanqueña, care will be offered to families at home to "overcome the difficulties of family life, offering guidance on family coexistence, domestic organization, upbringing and education of minors, school integration, health care, food and hygiene, leisure and free time and social relations ".
The service will have a flexible schedule and adapted to the needs of the family and minors in which you must request a prior appointment by email or at the Social Services offices.
It is aimed at families with children under age, children, adolescents and the elderly.
Among other services, support will be provided to minors and families, guiding them about their rights and use of social, health, educational, cultural or leisure resources.
In addition, groups with parents, girls, boys and adolescents will be created to improve personal skills and competences.
As a first action, the Department of Social Welfare has organized a workshop on Labor Guidance that will begin on February 18 and will last 30 hours, distributed in 15 sessions of two hours, on Mondays, from 4.30pm to 7pm, and on Thursdays, from 4.30pm to 6.30pm.
