The Department of Equality has announced this morning the events to be held in the municipality on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, which is commemorated worldwide on Sunday, November 25.
On that day, the manifesto will be read at the Victoria Theater during the concert that the Agrupación Musical de Blanca will offer on the occasion of the feast of Santa Cecilia, at 12.30.
The white artist, Noemí Yepes, will be in charge of reading the manifesto and the pianist, Cristina Pons, will interpret 'La puerta violeta'.
On Wednesday 28 at 10 in the morning, there will be a sensitization session on topics of abuse, sexual assault and cyberbullying aimed at ESO students at schools in the municipality, taught by CAVAX Murcia.
On Friday the 30th at 7:00 pm, an intensive feminine self-defense course will be held free of charge and will be aimed at women from the town of Vega del Segura.
Eduardo López Giménes, a specialist in personal defense with more than 23 years of experience, will be in charge of teaching the course that will take place at the Miguel Ángel Fernández Abenza Cultural Center.
Throughout the week will be exhibited the drawings made by schoolchildren of Blanca schools, which can be seen from Tuesday to Friday from 11.30am to 1pm and on Saturdays from 11am to 1pm and from 4pm to 6pm, at the Museum and Center of Interpretation of Light and Water and in the Social Center of the Station of Blanca
