The Pedro Cano de Blanca Foundation, which has the support of the Ministry of Tourism and Culture for its operation and the development of its programming, celebrates its eighth anniversary in November with free activities such as exhibitions, music, workshops and conferences.
The director of the Institute of Cultural Industries and Arts, Marta López-Briones, attended the presentation today, along with the painter Pedro Cano;
the Mayoress of Blanca, Esther Hortelano;
and the director of the Foundation, Mari Carmen Sánchez-Rojas, and highlighted the work carried out by the heads of the Foundation and by the painter himself, "one of our most recognized and international artists, to bring culture closer to an increasingly public wide through activities and to make this space even more known, which is one of the most relevant centers of contemporary art in the Region ".
Among the scheduled activities include the children's workshop 'Paint your favorite toy', in addition to a new edition of the drawing contest for people with disabilities.
In addition, the School of Music of Blanca will fill the rooms of the music museum, the writer Luis García Montero will offer a conference and the temporary exhibition 'Mi mundo interior', by Spain Art One 13, will open.
On Sunday, November 11, Pedro Cano will paint from nature and draw the work among the Friends of the Museum attending the event. The complete program can be found at www.fundacionpedrocano.es.
