The Department of Culture has announced, this morning, the decision of the jury of the Graffiti contest organized within the All Day Art, an activity that commemorated, on May 19, the celebration of the International Day of Museums in White.
There were two competitions called, one of fast graffiti and one of free poetic expression.
As for the graffiti, the council of Blanca established some panels along the Nueva de Blanca street, where the contestants were able to make their works, being the work of Angel Toledo Morales "Angel Toren", the one chosen as winner of the first prize.
As for the poetry contest, strings were laid across the street Nueva de Blanca, where participants hung their poems with tweezers.
Finally, the poetry chosen as the winner was the one titled 'The four plagues' signed by Juno, a pseudonym corresponding to Guillermo Molina Fernndez.
In addition, the Department of Culture established a modality with schools in the municipality to encourage poetry among children and youth of Blanca, giving freedom to each Center to choose how to establish the awards, which consisted of an annual bonus for the Victoria Theater .
The poetry prizes were awarded by poet Sara Bho during her encounter included in the literary cycle 'Ro de Letras', at the Pedro Cano Foundation.
