White City Council, through its Department of Agriculture, Industry and Environment, has organized a day of living with a local primary school and nature, where they have planted about 50 trees in various parks in the locality.
After planting, each child has sponsored the tree.
Pupils from three schools in White, Antonio Molina González, Virgen del Pilar and La Milagrosa have participated in the commemoration of World Environment Day is celebrated throughout the world, the 6 th of this month.
The initiative to the Department of Agriculture, Industry and Environment of the City of White, which seeks, as the mayor José M ª Molina, children learn through a fun activity to be more sympathetic to nature and environment of the municipality.
Children, the last cycle of primary, have moved to different city parks to plant fifty trees, accompanied by Councilman Environment, Environment and Technical fielder Hall.
They have also sponsored the tree that they planted "to be the ones to ensure their development in this park," said Molina.
