The activity is framed within the Master Plan for coexistence and improving school safety and consisted of a talk aimed at students in fifth and sixth grade of primary school and the parents of these children.
After the talk, the Meritorious conducted for all students of Public School Our Lady of the Pillar of White Station showing the official vehicles, operation and tools needed to perform their daily work.
In the show that featured the Security Forces of the State, also included an exhibition of the work of the forensic unit, the students of College Station could know how it works this unit of the Guardia Civil the steps that follow after reaching the scene of a crime, how fingerprinted and that the agents showed all the instruments working.
Finally, the Civil Guard held a demonstration that tested the police dogs.
The animals, trained specifically for a particular task, the children showed their work.
One of them found a suitcase with drugs, from a row of suitcases that simulated a conveyor belt at an airport.
Another, located a box with an explosive substance from a dozen boxes scattered around the schoolyard, and finally, one of the dogs, helped a Guardia Civil to detain an offender.
The aims of this activity is to make known to the school, the functions of the Police Corps, to help improve the confidence of youth and children in them, encouraging their involvement in securities linked to security and cooperation of citizens and the development of proactive behavior in the rejection and denunciation of those violent acts of those who are witnesses or victims.
