At 10 am on Sunday, March 22, about 500 duathletes will be starting Duathlon City of Murcia, which complies with this fourth edition in the streets of the capital.
The test, organized by the Club and Club Murcia Murcia Triathlon Challenge counts towards the Regional League Duathlon so it will, as it did in previous editions, with the best duathletes the moment.
With a total of 440 participants, Murcia city breaks new record of participation in what the Region of Murcia is concerned, both tests Duathlon and Triathlon, seeing only surpassed by the National Triathlon Fuente Álamo which brought in last year nearly 800 triathletes.
President Triathlon Club Murcia, José Miguel Hernández has been very satisfied with the high participation of this fourth edition since "the whole club is overturned with the organization of trial and sacrifice hours of training and family for making a reference Murcia Duathlon in the world. "
For the organizers of the competition, and last year was a success with 318 registered in the Sprint mode.
"This year we got 122 more testing effort and the great work done by Murcia Challenge" concludes Hernandez.
The start and finish will take place on the street Proclamation by the garden Floridablanca, and the distances are five kilometers (a circuit 2 turns) in the first sector career, then 20 kilometers by bike (2 laps) and elsewhere Career 2.5 kilometers (1 lap).
Up to 600 euros in prizes will be awarded for the top 3 male and female absolute.
One hundred and fifty euros for the winners and 150 and 50 for the second and third.
In addition, the top three in each category will receive a trophy.

As a test circuit included in the Regional League Triathlon Federation of the Region of Murcia, is governed by the technical rules of the federal agency.
