The blanqueño painter, Pedro Cano, closed this morning the third drawing contest for people with disabilities organized by his Foundation and has received a total of 72 papers presented.
The event was attended by more than a hundred people from five associations in the Region as New Horizon and Labor Viva, Murcia; New Albares Foundation, Cieza, Day Centre, Mazarron, and Aideman, San Pedro del Pinatar.
Of all the drawings, Cano has selected the top six that have been presented with a poster artist, who has expressed his satisfaction with the quality of some of the work, which stressed that done by Jesus Ramon Ortiz, winner of the first prize which, in addition, has given him a catalog with painter's work.
Coming from different villages of the region, as Mazarron, Lorca and Cartagena, participants have become the real protagonists of a day that, for Cano, has been "very emotional feeling that the Foundation is helping people with some type of disability. "
After the session, all participants received a diploma from the painter.
