White has art for a while (19/05/2012)

The City of Culture showed its exhibition yesterday thanks to 'Night of the Museums', a path that led over two hundred people by Pedro Cano Foundation, the center of research and artistic creation La Negra, the Museum of Light and Water and the Municipal Exhibition Hall.

The Department of Culture and Tourism developed this initiative coincided with the celebration of International Museum Day.

Mayor White, Rafael Laorden described as "very successful" Night of Museums, an initiative of the Department of Culture and Tourism, which proposed a different way to know the exhibition spaces of the town, and ended with the participation of more two hundred people, of Blanca and visitors who enjoyed the explanations of the painter Pedro Cano as he led the visit to the Foundation, were surprised to learn the importance of the Light and Water in the history of White discovered the strokes of local artist Raul Box, learned the craft tradition blanqueña through the performance of Vertigo Theatre and rejoiced in the Centro La Negra.

Last night, the town has shown that art for a while.

The route began at 19 pm in the Exhibition Hall where the painter Raul Box blanqueño showed his latest collection of oil paintings, a Valley Corners, which permeates every frame with his particular vision of the most emblematic of White.

Once this visit, the route went to the Museum and Interpretation Sceptre of Light and Water, where members of the theater group Te-Atrovertigo involved with a performance that stood as the water comes the light.

In the Museum of Blanca and visitors know the history of the building that housed the old power plant, and the process of light generation by water power.

Following the sound of Te-atrovertigo, continued the road to Pedro Cano Foundation, where the painter blanqueño began a visit to the collections that are in its Foundation, such as Closures or Invisible Cities.

After visiting Pedro Cano Foundation, the group already had over two hundred people, went to La Negra, the center of research and artistic maceration White who recently opened the 'Intervention I' by AADK Spain.

The Te-atrovertigo group ended the Night of Museums with a laborious interpretation commissioned by Professor Lucy Ato, who through music and dance represented a kind of twinning among the Arab people and the people blanqueño.
