White becomes during its Cultural Month, Black-White 13 165 2010, the headquarters of the International University of the Sea
Drug addiction and tourist destinations are the topics to be covered from 13 to 24 September
International University lands in White Sea.
To mark the month of White culture "Black 1315-White 2010" the town became the seat of the Universidad Internacional del Mar to host two courses, one on drug and other heritage and tourism.
Both workshops will be held throughout the month in the Hall of the Cultural Center Miguel Ángel Fernández Abenza and Black center, a new building that will house artists and craftsmen.
The first courses to develop is the Drug Addiction, which opened today, and they teach great professionals in pharmacology, psychology, medicine and law.
The directors of the course, Dr. Maria Luisa Laorden Carrasco and Maria Victoria Milanés Maquilon were in charge of welcoming the attendees.
In the course of Addictions, students will learn about the use of drugs from different points of view as the pharmacological, psychiatric and legal.
Will provide information on various types of drugs and the effects they can produce short and medium term and the treatment for people addicted to these substances.
The course of five days takes place in the hall of the cultural center of the town has a clear goal: to make people aware of the harmful effects that may cause the consumption of these substances.
The second International University courses taught in White Sea address the issue of heritage as a cornerstone of quality tourism.
This workshop will take place from 20 to 24 this month and has been called as' Destinations: emergence, consolidation and retraining.
