Blanca will honor her patron San Roque with the wreath and her regional dances (19/04/2017)

The council of Culture, together with the Department of Festivities, and the collaboration of Peñas Huertanas "El Ciecón" and "La Capaza", organize the day of the huertano side, next Saturday April 22, in honor of San Roque.

A day that will culminate with the folk concert of the group "Malvariche".

On Saturday April 22, the municipality of Blanca celebrates the day of the huertano side in honor of San Roque, patron saint of the town.

An act that will begin at 5:00 pm with the parade of the huertanos of the municipality headed by Peñas Huertanas "El Ciecón" and "La Capaza", culminating in the floral offering to the patron of the locality in the Plaza de la Iglesia.

Then, both huertanas peñas will delight the attendants of the offering with regional dances huertanos where they will expose the folklore blanqueño in its maximum splendor.

A huertano day that will be closed with the folk concert of the group "Malvariche" in the municipal park and that will be free admission.

The mayor of Culture, Soledad Rios, stressed the importance of continuing to bet on the growth of popular culture and traditions of the municipality.
