Torregar, painter responsible for conducting the cartel

The commissioning of the poster for the confinements has been one of the most promising artists of the Region of Murcia as is the case of Jose Antonio Torregrosa, who signed with the pseudonym 'Torregar'.

Torregar born in Ceutí (Murcia) in 1978. He is a young painter of figurative vocation, with certain neorealist affinities.

The artist paints with a technique reminiscent framings and perspectives of photographic technique, while saving the optical effects of the camera.

He is a painter of extremely early vocation as early as urgent, because since childhood not only started drawing and stain all the papers falling within reach but was determined with an unusual willingness to proclaim to the four winds' I am a painter '.

It is a figurative impressionistic strokes, earthy hues, with a certain preponderance of the human figure, which performs on decontextualized funds to focus on the central argument, only the most of the time.

His hobby led him inevitably to pursue a degree in Fine Arts, who studied at the Faculty of San Carlos de Valencia, after making the fourth year of his career at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia.

Later he has expanded his training with painters known as the Murcian Pedro Cano, in the painting workshop taught by it in White in 1999;

and the neorealist Antonio Lopez in the painting workshop he gave in Madrid in 2001.

Photography is another passion, also shown through public exhibitions, and, like painting, fueled by specializing guided by teachers as Joan Fontcuberta and Paul Genovese, in two workshops taught in the contest "Fotoencuentros' in 2002 .

His training has completed a theoretical performance workshop taught by Marina Abramovic and organized by the Cendeac in Murcia Párraga Center in 2005;

and a course entitled "Landscape Anthropomorphic" given by Javier Perez Blanca.

He is currently preparing doctoral studies in the Department of "painting" of the Faculty of BB.
